... And just like that 2016 is here.
2015 has been a ride. I've spent most of it recovering from both my professional and personal aftershocks from getting into unchartered investments and a few bad decisions in life while also redefining my photography and focusing on which path to take to specialize in photography.
This year I plan on doing more personal projects. I did not bring in wedding clients this year for a couple reasons. 1, the business side of it really drained and stressed me out last year. not to mention keeping track of everything else. for the last couple months of 2015 I've thought to myself that I may not but cut-out to be that guy who does both the business side and the shooting side of weddings. As much as I love shooting weddings, I think the stress that comes with it isn't something that I need at the moment.
That being said, I plan on doing more personal projects this year. Hit the roads and shoot more pictures for the soul. Hoping to finish my self published book of landscapes and portraits and will be finishing it with a great set of road trip stories and photographs. Cross country photo op will happen this year.
Here's to 2016 and cheers buhhhbye to 2015!
